Since I finished my studies, I have been working as a media designer to produce various digital products. So I now have over 17 years of experience in this field. I have continuously trained and developed myself further. In the meantime, I have been working independently as a lead designer and art director, leading teams, and qualifying as a mentor and consultant.
I appreciate attractive, innovative, and high-quality design solutions. But my main goal is to develop products that are easy to use and geared to the needs of their users. That's why I follow the Human-centered design approach in their development, taking into account the complete user experience.
In 2019 I qualified as a UXQB Certified Professional for Usability/User Experience with trainer certification. Since then, I have been training others who want to qualify as a Certified Professional for Usability/User Experience via the UXQB exam.
I conduct these seminars at Artop (Institute at the Humboldt University Berlin).
In my seminars, we cover topics such as analyzing the context of use, specifying requirements, producing design solutions, and testing products' usability.
I also teach at CareerFoundry, where I train students in six-month courses on the user interface or UX design.
I also have my seminars, in which I also cover topics like Design Thinking, and I give courses on application software like Sketch, Figma, and Axure.
